Dr. Lee Epstein started his private practice at his current location in 1980. He provides a full spectrum of psychological services to any age group. He can provide individual therapy, marriage counseling, family therapy, screening and psychological evaluations for mental health disorders and learning disabilities. Dr. Epstein is a nationally recognized expert in the diagnosis and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Dyslexia. He specializes in cognitve behavior therapy and dialectical therapy. He provides play therapy to work with younger children who have impulse arousal issues or behavioral compliance issues. Dr. Epstein received graduate degrees with honors at Indiana University and Vanderbilt University.

We are proud to add neuropsychological testing to our repertoire in order to enhance our services provided in our practice. Neuropsychological testing can diagnosis conditions such as traumatic brain injuries, dimentia, learning disabilities as well as others. We evaluate children, adolescents, and adults. 

Our staff consists of Dr. Epstein as well as tutors, an advocate, and office staff. Our tutors provide remedial tutoring in reading and math. Our tutors develop a specific plan for each individual student using a variety of tools for reading remediation such as visualizing and verbalizing, Reading Mastery Corrective Reading Series, Orton Gillingham, the Barton program, Linda Mood Bell as well as others. The tutors also use a variety of tools to remediate math basics such as the Corrective Math Series. We can also provide homework assistance, study skills seminars, writing seminars, ACT/SAT prep and organizational coaching.

Our advocate provides information to help you deal with challenges in the school system or employers with receiving reasonable accomodations for disabilities. The advocate has a background in working with at risk students and a famiilarity with the Indivdual Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) as well as Section 504.
